Brethren, we are back in business and doing well. As I said earlier last month, we will not be dark for the summer, in order to catch up on degrees. However, I need to push our candidate brothers to work hard in order to progress.

Thanks to W. Keir Hales and to W. Worshipful John Krikorian for their well-prepared education nights.

For Master Masons, Lodge polo shirts are here in all sizes. Only $25 each.

I look forward to seeing each of you at Lodge.

‘I am a Mason’

If you are reading this, you are probably a Mason. I may not know you, but I believe if we met, we could form a friendship. As a Mason, I can be generous and will offer help when needed and can do so. As a Mason, you can trust me with a secret. As a Mason I believe in my morals and values. I sometimes must remind myself of my obligations of being a Mason and I always feel a better person afterwards. It’s a crazy world we live in but let’s share our brotherly love and support for not only each other but co-workers, friends and, of course, family members with a hug, handshake or a kind word.

‘I am a Mason,’ and proud of it.

Fraternally,
Tim Michaels, Senior Warden

I hope all is well with the brethren. We had a great turnout for our first Family dinner in sixteen months.

The Grand Master’s Official Visit went well, too. I have great menus planned for the rest of the year. A big thank you goes to our Stewards, Bedford and Steve, and the other Brothers that helped, Let’s have a great Year. And look forward to great meals.

Delvin Bourn, Junior Warden

Brethren, I want to thank you for your faith in me to be your Worshipful Master for this year. Although it appears that my year is short, it really is not.

You may recall that we were suspended in December, January and February. To compensate for time lost, I do not plan to go dark this summer. We have many individuals who want to become Masons and, as such, we have a lot of degree-work ahead. I want to devote the rest of this year to keeping up with it. If you have summer plans, please let the Senior Warden know so he can get someone to fill in for you. And enjoy your vacations.

I would also like to return to having family dinners as soon as possible. By hosting family dinners, we involve wives and families, not only as an extension of Masonry, but socially as well. In previous years, the family dinners became occasions for wives and families to know each other and look forward to being together again.

Thank you for your support.

Richard (Dick) Wright, Worshipful Master

From the West

I would like to thank the brothers for electing me to the West and look forward to a rewarding year for all.
It does look like it will be a busy year for degrees. I am sure, with your help, we will continue to have degrees we are all proud of. If you have a part in any of the degrees and for any reason you cannot make it, the more notice you can give me to fill the position will be greatly appreciated. And, if you would like to have a part, please do not hesitate to ask.

Wishing all the best as we move forward.
Fraternally,
Tim Michaels, Senior Warden
