June 2020 Events

Mount Moriah #39 is having a limited re-opening in June due to COVID-19. Here is what we have planned.

• Wednesday, May 27th at 7PM: Virtual online hangout for prospective members. This will be a 1-hour online meeting for men who have expressed an interest in joining. We’ll have a short presentation and then an open forum for Q&A and get to know each other. The information will be sent via email to those who have contacted the lodge or responded to the Grand Lodge Social Media Campaign.
• Wednesday, June 10th at 7PM: We will be hosting our first ever Parking Lot Social. We will be meeting at the Lodge and depending on the weather we will either be meeting outside or inside. Prospective members are very much invited to attend! There will be no program, just an opportunity to catch up and meet prospective members. Please bring a camper chair (in case we meet outside), and anything you’d like to eat or drink. The Lodge will have water, some pre-packaged snacks, masks, gloves, hand sanitizer, and disinfectant wipes. Social distancing will be the order of the day. Dress is casual and comfortable.
• Wednesday, June 17th at 7PM: The Lodge will be opening to hear four proficiencies: three EA and one FC. Dress is collared shirt and long pants. Mt Moriah Lodge shirts encouraged.
• Wednesday, July 1st at 7:30: The Lodge is tentatively planning to hold a stated meeting, depending on government guidance and instructions from the Grand Lodge of Nevada at the time. There will be no dinner beforehand. However, prospective members are welcome to arrive before the meeting to socialize with the members.
