Officer’s Messages – March 2019

From the East
WM Eric Willson

Brethren,

I would like to thank everyone who came out last month for Brother Stan’s EA education.  I enjoyed the lecture and found myself thinking about the lesson that was communicated in the days that followed.  I am always surprised when I hear or read negative commentary concerning the Craft.  There is a lot of it.

We should, my Brothers, ever remember those important lessons in the first-degree charge.  Let us not compound any ill and misinformed opinions about our fraternity through our own wrong action.  Be vigilant!

Eric Willson
Worshipful Master

From the West
Bro John Krikorian

At our last Stated Meeting, I had the privilege of sitting in the East while the Worshipful Master was away. It was also my duty to provide an education, which I did on Psalm 133. I very much enjoyed creating and delivering that talk and I hope all the Brethren found it enlightening and useful.

For those of you in the officer line, it’s a good lesson that you should always be prepared to step up a seat, since sometimes life can cause Brothers to miss meetings from time to time. Consider preparing your ritual work well ahead of time and you’ll always be prepared.

Contact our DGL or any of your Senior Officers and we’d be pleased to help you or any Brother who wants to improve their knowledge of the work.

I hope you have been enjoying our meals this year. We have more to come. On March 6 (State Meeting) we’re going to have Angus Hamburger Steak with Mushroom gravy, white rice, green beans, salad and deserts.

Then on March 27 (Family Dinner) we’re going to have Taco night, ground chicken or beef, hard or soft shell, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cheese and re-fried beans. Oh yes there will be desserts also. Hope this sounds good.

If any of you have suggestions for meals let me know. Brother George suggested Indian Tacos which we will have in the near future. Thank you, Brother George.

Last month’s stated meeting had many items, as you can see in the draft of the minutes.  Please review the minutes for errors and bring them to my attention before the next Stated Meeting opens.

Thanks to all those who paid their dues.
