Officers Messages – January 2018

From the East
WM Dennis Ashley

Greetings from the East,

First, I’d like to say Happy New Year to you and your families wherever dispersed. Secondly a new year brings new work to be done. Our welcoming committee has had multiple inquiries about our Lodge, and by the looks of things, I see new members joining real soon. So, let’s set a good example of how Masonry is practiced.

I highly recommend all Masons attend DGL night, our Most Worshipful Mike Hoaglin is going to open the floor for discussion on our openings, closings, and degree work. If there’s any questions that you may have about your position in Lodge, or any other; this will be the time and place.

Thank you in advance!!!

Earnestly
Dennis Ashley,
Worshipful Master

From the West
Bro Eric Willson

I heartily thank you all for electing me to serve as Senior Warden in 2018. We have a lot of Brothers entering and progressing through the line, and I look forward to seeing everyone grow into their roles.

Worshipful Ashley has placed a strong emphasis on ritual work this year. It is my hope that you will all make the time to either practice or assist others in practicing this year. We have a lot of past Masters with plenty of experience in almost every role. I encourage you to reach out to them.

I’m looking forward to seeing you all in January. Enjoy the rest of the Holidays, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Fraternally,
Eric Willson
Senior Warden

From the South
Bro John Krikorian

I am touched and honored that you have elected me to the South. I will do my best to exemplify the pillar of beauty and supervise the hours of refreshment. Accordingly, we will continue having a casual dinner before each stated meeting.

I am busy planning the menus for the 2018 brothers stated & family dinners,
I ask you to think about all the senior Brethren that came before us and taught each of us in turn as we progressed through the degrees. Has each of us met, or even surpassed the efforts of our past and departed Brothers? I call upon each of us to always challenge ourselves to assist the next generation of Brothers in ways that exceed the help that we ourselves received.

There are no more poignant moments in Masonry then when we show Brotherly Love for our newer members and assist them in smoothing out their ashlars. All words of wisdom, kindly spoken, to a new Brother will make all the difference in the world!

Fraternally,
John Krikorian
Junior Warden

From the Secretary

Brethren

Looks like we have a great slate of officers for 2018 to run the Lodge, I’m sure that they will get it done efficaciously.

Looks like we are going have a few newer faces around the lodge when we begin our degrees because I have had many new inquiries on how to become a Mason. It’s just a matter of just getting more of our members to sign the line on those that have or are going to fill out petitions for the degrees.

I want to thank Brother Snowden for all his help last year for he made it very easy to work alongside him.

Fraternally,

Larry G. Kesler, Sec.
